Terms of use

C'est Chaud à Paris is a seasonal guide to cool places in Paris during hot weather. You can browse places, save them, check in when you are there, receive email alerts, and — with an account — post comments and join the chat.

By using the service you accept these terms. The service is provided free of charge and “as is”: it may change, be suspended, or close, in particular outside the hot season.

The service is restricted to people aged 15 or over. We do not offer a parental-consent mechanism: if you are under 15, you must not create an account or post content.

Posting (comments or chat) requires signing in. You remain responsible for what you post. In particular, the following are prohibited:

• any illegal content (threats, glorification of crimes, child sexual abuse material…);
• hate, harassment, insults, and discrimination;
• spam, disguised advertising, and misleading links;
• publishing someone else's personal information without consent (“doxxing”).

The chat is ephemeral: messages are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Comments stay up for as long as they are relevant.

Every published item has a “Report” button. When illegal content is brought to our knowledge, we remove it promptly. When we remove content, we state the reason.

In case of abuse, we may suspend an account or a device. You can contest a removal or a suspension by writing to us (see “Contact” below): we will review the decision.

C'est Chaud à Paris provides practical information, not medical advice. Our guides cite official sources (Météo-France, health authorities), but they replace neither a doctor nor official instructions. If you feel unwell or in an emergency, call 15 (SAMU) or 112.

Place information (opening hours, facilities, coolness) comes from open data and contributions: it can be inaccurate or out of date. Verify locally before travelling. We guarantee neither the accuracy of the data nor the availability of the places.
