Our €17 is exactly the full price the museum charges; it also sells a €15 reduced ticket and lets under-18s in free. Go in before you pay anything: since 2001 the permanent collections of the City of Paris museums have been free and need no booking. The ticket we sell opens the temporary exhibition only.
Two details nobody prints. The ticket desks shut at 5.15pm although the museum closes at 6pm. And the Thursday late opening until 9.30pm covers the temporary exhibitions only, not the permanent collections — in the evening, the free half is shut.
Simone Fattal fills the other half of the museum on the same dates, and the museum's own box office sells a combined ticket for both shows. We sell them separately. If you plan to see everything, compare first.
The first exhibition in France devoted to Kerry James Marshall: seventy works, eight of them paintings made for it. Organised by London's Royal Academy with the Kunsthaus Zürich, it has already been to both. Paris is the last stop.
One more sum: the Palais de Tokyo, at number 13 on the same avenue, gives its €9 reduced rate to MAM visitors on the day of their visit.
