Our €15 is the Fondation's full price; it also sells a €10 reduced ticket. The ticket is a flexible entry, valid for an hour: you pick a window, not a minute.
Three things to know before you go. The spaces are shut for now while the show is installed; only the bookshop opens, Tuesday to Sunday 11am-7pm. Then, on Fridays the Fondation stays open until 10pm against 7pm on other days, and Monday it is closed. And once you are inside, a short free guided talk starts every half hour on one of the three floors, no booking.
Two pieces of the exhibition can be seen without a ticket. Ibrahim Mahama dresses the arcades of the facade in textile, in full view from place du Palais-Royal. And James Barnor's fashion and portrait photographs are shown with the RATP in the galerie Valois, inside the Palais-Royal — Musée du Louvre metro station, for the whole run.
Inside: the Ghanaian artist's first Paris exhibition, with nine invited artists and collectives, across every space in the building. Parliament of Ghosts is a parliamentary chamber built from traditional Ashanti wooden stools that visitors are invited to sit on, and which becomes a circular stage for concerts and debates. Things Fall Apart rebuilds a Ghanaian glass-bottle factory from its original materials.
